Chlorogenic acid in preventing and curing ultraviolet-induced damage in human skin fibroblast as an antiaging cell model

چکیده
Continuous ultraviolet (UV) irradiation stimulates the over-production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) to cause degenerative diseases. Chlorogenic acid (CA) is found as plants antioxidant that promises medicinal effects. This study examined CA protection against UV-damage in human skin fibroblast (BJ) cells both for curative and preventive therapy. BJ were exposed UV radiation addition (6.26-100 mikro g/mL) by methods. The viability analysis was conducted employing MTS (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxy-phenyl)-2-(4-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium) assay. treatment before exposure exhibited an increased percentage than positive control. In detail, series concentration (6.25, 12.5, 25 significantly enhanced viable cells. after denoted same results. Furthermore, lower concentrations used, higher cell resulted. at dose 6.25 g/mL showed highest cells, while 100 resulted lowest viability. short, can preserve treat from exposure. outcome suggested prevention on UV-induced tested applicable further experiments.

Critical role of GSH in Sulfur Mustard-induced Oxidative Stress and Cytotoxicity in Human Skin Fibroblast Cell Line
In this study the role of glutathione (GSH) in sulfur mustard -induced oxidative stress and cytotoxicity, in human skin fibroblast cell line (HF2FF) was evaluated. Sulfur mustard-induced superoxide radical and hydrogen peroxide formation were evaluated by determination of superoxide dismutase and catalase activity in cell lysate. The cytotoxicity of sulfur mustard was estimated by lactate dehyd...

متن کاملProtective effect of chlorogenic acid in an experimental model of Parkinson’s disease induced by 6-hydroxydopamine in rats
Introdution: Parkinson's disease is the second most common neurodegenerative disease. Considering the antioxidant and neuroprotective properties of chlorogenic acid, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the neuroprotective effect of this substance in an experimental model of Parkinson's disease. Methods: In this experimental study, Wisar male rats (n = 32) were divided into 4 groups: sham...
متن کاملChlorogenic Acid Prevents Alcohol-induced Brain Damage in Neonatal Rat
The present investigation evaluates the neuroprotective effect of chlorogenic acid (CA) in alcohol-induced brain damage in neonatal rats. Ethanol (12 % v/v, 5 g/kg) was administered orally in the wistar rat pups on postnatal days (PD) 7-9. Chlorogenic acid (100 and 200 mg/kg, p.o.) was administered continuously from PD 6 to 28. Cognitive function was estimated by Morris water maze (MWM) test. H...
